Yes, we're finally married! Our wedding culminated in the wedding dinner on 10 November 2007 @ Bankers Club. From the feedback that we've heard so far, we are both happy and relieved that the event turned out to be more successful and memorable than we could have ever imagined (although there were many last minute work behind the scenes and glitches too, during the events themselves).
The smooth running of the entire event was only possible due to the tremendous amount of help that we have received and we are truly grateful and thankful to have received so much support from so many people. But all the hard work would have amounted to nothing if there were no guests - so, thank you to everyone for attending and sharing the many memorable moments with us.
And of course, a VERY BIG THANK YOU goes out to the many people who have rendered their invaluable help to us (we couldn't have done this without you):
Immediate family members:
- Sze's Dad & Mom, who did lots of running around for the wedding eve dinner and the traditional wedding ceremonies.
- Eunice's Dad, for lending us his precious vehicle to be the bridal car.
- Eunice's Mom, for lots of advice and conducting the traditional wedding ceremonies.
- Kin Yuen, who was the very busy bestman/Heng Tai and came back all the way from Toronto after 19 years just for the wedding :)
- Mr Yeoh and Fiona, for their advice and help during the tea ceremonies, organizing the food, logistics and running errands when we were too busy.
- Steven, for ushering the guests and the "pants" ceremony.
- Naomi, for being the bridesmaid and guest receptionist.
- Lee Horng, for opening the bridal car door.
Close relatives and friends:
- Richard Hoe, for being the MC and Heng Tai (chief negotiator).
- May May, for her help during the tea ceremony and guest receptionist.
- Jae-Han, the most dedicated driver/Heng Tai who worked longer hours for me (16 hours) than in his full-time job!
- Aunt Molly and Aunt Kathryn, for helping out Sze's Mom and Dad during the wedding eve dinner and the traditional wedding ceremonies.
- Aunt Marina, for her advice and experience in organizing the wedding.
- Su Lim, for her letting us mine her experience as a "wedding planner" and for being the guest receptionist.
- Boon, for being the videographer/2nd photographer and Heng Tai.
- Wai Hoe, for being the "drink" & drive Heng Tai.
- Mr Loh and Keefe, for their roles in opening the bridal car door, bed jumping and "kung-fu" smashing the potty cover.
- Khoon Leng, for her help during the tea ceremony.
- Sam and Chen Chen, for helping with the last minute work upstairs just before the dinner.
- Alice, for being the sound engineer (in a dress :P) and Chi Mui.
- Venus, for her laptop computer and Chi Mui.
- Nian Tze and Soo Peng for being the Chi Mui.
One of the events that had to be cancelled during the dinner @ Bankers Club was our Childhood Montage presentation which could not be completed in time. So to make it up, we have posted it online here for your viewing pleasure... enjoy :)

aah....finally it's up!!! had been checking out the website everyday for a week :p.....
somehow I'm quite glad that u guys didn't manage to complete the Childhood Montage presentation...which I hv a chance to watch it now....:) but it's a bit too small to watch it from the computer though......(some of the words are too small to be viewed on the computer).....but i really love the video.....it makes me laughed!!! (esp the naked part...muahahahahahah)
mr sze...why u never looked at the mirror when u were young??( i m really quite curious)....and eunice..u r just beautiful la.......(You Are Beautiful...You Are Beautiful...)
congratulation again to both of u.....btw...is that the only wedding pic??? where is the rest...:((.....i wan to see.........
Thx for sharing this beautiful clip, it's wonderful!
What about the photos? i'm sure u have a lot to choose. I'd loved to if u can also post it here as well...
It's a regret that i couldn't attend your wedding dinner & sing both of u the song that i'm supposed to duet with Chen. I sincerely apologise for not being able to turn up in this auspicious day of yours, hope that my last minute absence didn't ruin your well-planned program.
Once again, congrats to u & Sze... May u & Sze have a warm & love-filled wedded life; the best for your future together!
Hi Lily. Thx for your enthusiasm and patience :)
Hi Gwen. Great to see you here on our new blog ;)
To Peter: The points in your email are also addressed here as they are quite similar. Hope you don't mind :P
From your comments and other feedback that we have received, it seems that this You Tube video is not such a great idea after all, heh heh... we linked it to You Tube just to be compatible with more computers as not everyone may have QuickTime installed. But since it's too small to view properly, we'll probably remove it from You Tube much earlier than planned.
But we want to make this "late" reply worth waiting for as we have rushed through the codes and web construction to bring the video gallery online... for a start, we have uploaded 3 video clips, including a larger Childhood Montage - so hopefully, you can see everything more clearly now. Just click on the Video Gallery favorite link on the top right corner of this blog...
Of course, the most FAQ is about the photos, and as promised, we will up post more pictures online when we receive them from our freelance photographer and also from my brother who's currently in China on business. So in the meantime, you can also view the video slide of our pre-wedding photos in the video gallery...
But glad to know that you guys like our Childhood Montage. To answer Lily's question, Sze didn't look into the mirror when he was young cos he was too short then and everything was just out of reach... haha. Eunice also thanks you for your compliment.
To Gwen, wish that you were able to join us on our wedding too but guess sometimes, things don't always work out as planned. As the saying goes, the show must go on and everything turned out well, so don't worry too much about it.
Thx to everyone for all the well wishes. We appreciate all the support and we wish everybody all the best in return :)
ahh mr sze, WHAT DID U EAT??!! i want to the "tips" to grow taller!!!
My tip to grow taller - just age naturally ;)
I watched your movie clip last weekend. It's a very nice clip, and the screen was adequately large -- thanks. Also, I will soon take a peek at your photo albums too.
Anyway, hope that you guys can get much rest now... Take care!
ps. I had not been able to send emails to your yahoo account since last week. Either that my email address (an email alias) had been compromised (and the yahoo server is rejecting it because it is being borrowed for spamming), or your spam filter is rejecting it, or something more serious is occurring. I am still investigating this...
~Peter
Hi Peter. Thanks for the compliment. Glad that our Childhood Montage window is now large enough for you to view it properly.
We have had adequate rest by now - thanks. Most people didn't realize this but I was sick (had fever) throughout my wedding... it started on the wedding eve, with recurring fever till 1 week after the event... That's part of the reason why the website updates have been quite slow in coming... But since then, we have gotten back to our daily grind but behind schedule in almost everything... haha... but at least, most of the photo albums are online now, including those from our Dinner Reception @ Bankers Club.
Btw, I also received a failed delivery report of your email. I have checked but none of your emails are in my Bulk mail folder and your email address has not been blocked either... plus I can still receive emails from other people. So not quite sure what the problem is... maybe try sending me some email with another account and see if that works...
Well written article.
Thanks, Carmelita.
